Start here to find out about English and Maths from Entry to Level 2 (GCSE equivalent) and apply to relevant courses.
Courses are fully funded by the Government. This means there is no cost to you as a learner or to your employer (if they are supporting you).
English and Maths to this level form part of apprenticeship standards. It is an entry requirement to hold or be working towards approved Level 2 qualifications in both English and Maths to successfully enrol onto:
- Many health and care apprenticeship programmes, such as Nursing Associate Apprenticeship
- Degree or Masters Apprenticeships.
The English and Maths qualifications are practical, so learning is useful in everyday work and home situations, and will help you to gain the most from life, learning and work:
- Improve your writing and reading skills
- Communicate more effectively
- Feel more confident with numbers.
