This explains how we handle the personal information you provide to us through this site.

This website connects people considering qualification courses in English and Maths from foundation level up to Level 2 (GCSE equivalent) with accredited providers who specialise in supporting learners from the health and care sectors to achieve these qualifications.

 

It is owned and provided by NHS South East London Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) on behalf of a partnership of NHS organisations and local authorities in Lambeth, Southwark, Lewisham, Greenwich, Bexley and Bromley.

 

The information you provide to us will be collected and stored securely by Verve Communications Limited (company no. 05358457) of The Fold Space, 20 Clyde Terrace, Forest Hill London SE23 3BA, who act as agent and data processor on behalf of NHS South East London

Clinical Commissioning Group of 160 Tooley Street, London SE1 2TZ (the data controller). Verve Communications is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (registered no. Z1585889).

How we use your information

The information you provide through this site will be used to provide you with the services you request, including referring your enquiry to appropriate educational and training institutions who can best meet your needs, as well as organisations who offer apprenticeships and training programmes which may be of interest to you.

 

The legal basis for processing this information is Article 6(1)(b) of GDPR – ‘processing is necessary for the performance of a contract, or to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract’.

 

The personal information you provide will be shared with our partner educational institutions and training providers, as well as local employers who are offering apprenticeships and training programmes.  (A current list of these can be viewed on our [hyperlink] website). If you choose to give us the name of your current employer, we may share your details with them so we can make them aware of your interest in further training and development and help you access the support that is available to you.

 

Your personal information will not be transferred to or held on servers outside of the European Economic Area.

What information we collect

The personal information we collect may include your name, address, phone number, email address, social media profile, education and employment details, date of birth, subject choices and preferred location for study.

 

We will keep this information during the time of your involvement with our services and usually for a period of up to three years afterwards. Our systems may use automated decision-making to match your enquiry with education providers and employers best suited to your geographic location and interests and needs.

 

We and our partners will hold this information in confidence and comply with all our responsibilities under the General Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection Act.

How to raise any concerns
